Hyundai Nishat has launched the much-anticipated Hyundai Santa Fe HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle) in Pakistan at an event held in Lahore.
Variants
The Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid has been launched in two different variants, which includes the Santa Fe Smart (Base Variant) and Santa Fe Signature (Top Variant) and both of them carry some differences in terms of specifications and features.
Engine and Transmission
The Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) is powered by a 1598cc engine that is capable of producing 177 horsepower (hp) and 265 Newton-meters (Nm) of Torque, while a hybrid motor allows the vehicle to provide a combined output of 227 horsepower (hp) and 350 Newton-meters (Nm) of Torque.
The engine is coupled with a 6-speed automatic transmission with the Santa Fe Signature offering different drive modes, including Multi-Terrain Mode, (Snow, Mud, Sand) and a All-Wheel Drive (AWD) mode.
Meanwhile, the Hyundai Santa Fe Smart offers a Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) only.
